Each of our lives is a life full of grace - even when it doesn't seem to be. We and our world are always filled with grace, because we and all creation are always the gifts of God's Love. We write the greater story of our lives by noticing our countless unnoticed encounters with grace. And we live our awareness of those graced encounters, by sharing the gift of ourselves with others.
The text accompanying the images in this presentation are interpretations of the wisdom of Karl Rahner, the theologian of the graced search for meaning. The author expresses Rahner's insights in haiku, a form of Japanese contemplative poetry. The images have been created to help us visualize the everyday nearness of God's loving and gifting Presence.
